I realize I’ve still be slacking on updating this.  I’m going to try to go back to actually updating daily.

I am going to finish the invitations and mail them this week.  Really, I am!!!!  Also, we are starting on the dress this weekend.  After the invitations are mailed, I will probably scan on and post on here (obviously with some of the info removed for privacy).  I’d also like to journal the progress of the dress.  The new project is getting 1000 paper cranes folded in time. 

 I have lots of people interested in helping with various craft projects.  I just need to figure out what I really want to do.  Oh… and one friend knows how to fold origami sakura!!!  I think that will become the bouquet. 

I have some homework to do today and a couple errands.  I hope to be able to do some work on the invites before class though.  Otherwise, I’ll just work on them during class. ^_~

The past week was a flurry of motion.  We had a birthday party for Kirin on Saturday, then I got sick.  I’ve been coughing for the past few days.  Bleh.  I’m probably going to try and finish at least one batch of invitations tonight so I can start mailing them.  We rethought the time, so I ended up putting the project aside as I planned for Kirin’s party.  Now, everything is caught up.  Even school work for the moment, so I should be able to get some work done tonight!

Prior to a week ago I had not been making any tangible progress on anything related to the wedding due to school and that sort of thing.  The past week I have spent hours and hours working on the invitations and they are coming along very well.  Almost finished in fact.  Now though, we’re having issues about place because it looks like the minimum attendee count is about 100 if not 150.  So, with only 2 months to go, we’re rethinking where to hold it.  GRRRR!  And I really need to get the invitations out.  Its only 8 weeks till the date!  ARGGG!!!!

 Well, I’ll be updating regularly now.  So, we’ll figure it out.  I might even post invitation pics.

The past week was Spring Break.  While I had planned to do a bunch of wedding stuff (mostly prepare the invitations) I didn’t.  I actually spent most of the time cleaning and organizing my supplies.  I tried to go dress shopping with my mom, got depressed at the lack of availbility of the dresses I wanted to try on.  So, again, I’m seriously considering making my dress.  I have such an amazing concept… I don’t want to not have my absolute dream dress.  Anyway, I just wanted to quickly update and say that I’m still alive!

We are currently at our weekly hangout spot, therefore I’ll make it short and sweet.  We worked on invitation wording and contacted someone about pond estimates.  That’s about it. =D

We went shopping today.  I bought *hopefully* the last items for the invitations.  I didn’t work on them today though.  I’m reconsidering what dress I want.  I think my appointment on Thursday will involve trying on a few more things before I make a decision.  Had a fun day today though.  We had a water balloon fight after we got home.  We had promised the “spider monkey” a water fight and oh did he get one.  He was completely drenched afterwards and quite happy. 

Also, we *finally* had our gift exchange today that has been brewing since Christmas.  We were really slackers in that regard this year.  The monkey was really happy with a new array of kid kinex and real kinex plus 2 new legos robot things.  So, fun day all in all.  Long day though, hence the super late update. 

 I’m going to go sleep now… tomorrow I have invitations to design!!!

So, we went dress shopping this afternoon, as is evident from Michael’s post.  I was sad because my mommy was unable to go with at the last minute (T.T) That’s actually what motivated the taking of many a picture.  The final jacket thing over the ruffly bit is the closest to what I had envisioned in my brain.  But, I don’t feel like going through the effort to make the whole thing from scratch. 

Trying on a bunch of dresses though was REALLY tiring and the pain flared up again.  So, by the 2nd to last dress I was ready to be finished.  But, I wanted to try all the potentials I had picked.

I’m exhausted… I’m going to bed now.  I am happy that things are being accomplished.  Last night, I actually got a pretty good idea of how to do the invitations.  So, I’m one step closer to having invitations to send out next week.  Maybe, if I have an opportunity tomorrow, I will post about the invites.  Right now though, I’m going to sleep.

So… we’re working on invitations.  Can’t quite work it out though.  I’m going back to playing with colors and rubber stamps… I’m hoping before I sleep that I’ll have an idea I want to work with.

 We’re still tweaking the site.  Though, it is mostly the way we want it.  Yay!  Progress is good.

Ok, so… now we have changed our date back to 8 August 2008!  This is good because things won’t be so crazy hectic.  I do still plan on getting invitations out by the end of next week.  Now I have to redo my day count…. LOL

Today has gone well.  Had a lovely French test this afternoon… then Astro-Calc.  We spent some time working on the background for this page.  Maybe by the time I go to sleep it will be close to complete!  Played with the supplies for the invites a bit.  We have some ideas churning for that.  Also, I spoke with both my best friends today and made plans to get together later in the week.  Yay!  Actually progress is being made.  I’m so excited! 

Oh yeah, and I’m feeling (slightly) better today.
